I’ve always enjoyed my food and was brought up mostly on home cooking with the occasional fast food outlet visit as a quick fix. As I’ve got older, and particulaly through my sporting career, I’ve experimented with plenty of ‘diets’ or nutritional plans, some which have been more pleasant than others. My general stance is that the best way for a person to eat is to eat by their nutritional requirements, eat as naturally as possible and indulge in an occasional treat or two. For many this is easier said than done, and it doesn’t help that there is so much contradicting advice out there, often put about in confusing terms. Posts in this category will vary from very simple to quite complex and I will borrow a lot of stuff from other people which I will always acknowledge!
